FAQ

  • WHAT TYPES OF COMMUNITIES DO YOU MANAGE?

We specialize in managing multi-family properties, homeowners associations (HOAs), condominium associations, townhome communities, and active adult (55+) communities. We also offer services for other types of residential communities that require professional management.

  • HOW QUICKLY DO YOU RESPOND TO QUESTIONS OR REQUESTS?

We strive to respond to or acknowledge all communications within 24 business hours. Communities are also provided with emergency contact procedures for urgent after-hours situations.

  • WILL OUR COMMUNITY HAVE A DEDICATED PROPERTY MANAGER?

Yes. Each community is assigned a dedicated Connecticut CAM-licensed property manager who serves as the primary point of contact for the board and homeowners.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF OUR PROPERTY MANAGER IS UNAVAILABLE?

Our team works collaboratively to ensure someone is always available to assist when needed. In addition to your assigned manager, our leadership team remains actively involved and accessible.

  • HOW DO YOU HANDLE VENDOR MANAGEMENT?

We coordinate with trusted vendors, oversee project progress, and help ensure work is completed properly before payment is issued. We are also happy to work with vendors already preferred by the community.

  • DO YOU ASSIST WITH RESERVE PLANNING AND CAPITAL PROJECTS?

Yes. We assist boards with reserve budgeting, capital planning, and long-term maintenance planning to help communities prepare for future projects and expenses.

  • HOW DOES YOUR COMPANY COMMUNICATE WITH OWNERS AND BOARDS?

We believe in proactive, transparent communication. Boards and property owners receive regular reports and updates, while residents benefit from timely announcements, newsletters, and accessible support. Everyone has a clear point of contact for questions or concerns, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

  • WHAT MAKES SILVERBRICK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER MANAGEMENT COMPANIES?

As a smaller management company, we focus heavily on responsiveness, communication, and hands-on support. Our leadership team remains actively involved, and we intentionally grow at a pace that allows us to maintain a high level of service for every community we manage.

In addition, multiple members of our team have firsthand experience serving on HOA and condominium boards themselves. That perspective helps us better understand the day-to-day challenges boards face, anticipate potential issues before they escalate, and provide practical guidance based on real-world experience — not just property management theory.
